Job summary

Ceribell is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to drive key products from concept to release. You will own the product backlog, write clear specifications and acceptance criteria, and collaborate daily with engineering to keep releases on schedule.

You will partner with R&D, AI, and data science teams, translate clinician input into concrete requirements, and guide cross-functional teams across regulatory and clinical landscapes to deliver groundbreaking EEG-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MS/PhD preferred; 7+ years in medical device or medical software product development.
• 3+ years of consulting experience; device sales experience a plus.
• Strong background in software and hardware medical devices, neurodiagnostics, EEG, and AI-driven product development a plus.
• Extensive regulatory knowledge including FDA 510(k) submissions and 21 CFR 820.30 design controls.
• Ability to decompose clinical workflows into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Market research skills to translate findings into product requirements across regulatory landscapes.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities with customer empathy.
• Hands-on medical device/software development experience; agile ceremonies; backlog tools; design controls docs.
• Strong design collaboration, project leadership, and cross-functional execution.
• Commitment to Ceribell’s principles, continuous improvement, agility, and innovation.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Product Ownership: manage business case, value proposition, customer experience from concept to launch.
• AI Integration: work with AI, ML and data science teams to add AI-driven features.
• Regulatory and Compliance Leadership: align strategies with FDA/global regulations for SaMD.
• Neurodiagnostics Expertise: lead EEG-focused product development for critical care.
• Release and Lifecycle Management: plan releases, manage scope across regulatory regions.
• Cross-Functional Execution: run sprint planning, backlog reviews, design reviews with teams and vendors.
• Voice of Customer (VOC): gather global feedback to guide development and market strategy.
• Stakeholder Communication: draft status and release updates for senior leadership.
• Competitive Analysis: monitor features, pricing, regulatory, clinical and marketing status.
