Job summary

Mercury Systems in the United States seeks a Product Manager for its Signal Technologies Mixed Signal Line of Business. You will define and execute product strategies, bridging customer needs with engineering and operations.

You will lead lifecycle execution, roadmaps, and documentation, collaborating with leadership, suppliers, and end users to deliver differentiated solutions for defense missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of product management or operations experience in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, or technical environments.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software development processes.
• Experience authoring customer facing technical documentation.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience working cross‑functionally and engaging directly with customers.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• This position requires the ability to obtain government security clearance; U.S. citizenship may be required.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational aspects of new product introduction from concept to end‑of‑life.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with customer capability needs in defense and aerospace.
• Coordinate roadmaps with related technology groups.
• Monitor industry trends to ensure competitiveness and differentiation.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to meet lifecycle, cost, and performance goals.
• Support Sales with strategic customer design wins and technical insights.
• Manage product operations and revenue opportunities across the Mixed Signal portfolio.
• Own all product documentation: manuals, data sheets, user guides, and release notes.
• Create accurate, customer‑ready documentation to improve experience and reduce support burden.
• Engage with customers, field engineers, and support teams to gather feedback on documentation needs.
• Establish documentation standards and quality processes across the product line.
• Build relationships with customer technical leaders to identify future opportunities.
• Lead competitive product analysis based on customer interactions and requirements.
• Develop sales and marketing collateral aligned with product positioning and roadmap.
• Develop and execute product launch and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate on financial forecasting including bookings, revenue, and profitability.
• Develop strategies to increase product line profitability.
• Own end‑of‑life planning and lifecycle management for all assigned products.
• Coordinate EOL mitigation with Supply Chain and Engineering.
• Track projects, documentation metrics, and product KPIs.
