Job summary

Code Metal is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for mission-critical software platforms. You’ll work closely with customers, engineers, and designers to translate complex capabilities into products that solve real user problems in high-stakes environments.

This role requires quickly learning new domains, championing user research, and balancing customer needs with technical constraints while partnering with users, domain experts, and engineers across discovery,

Qualifications

• Experience owning software products from discovery through launch in a technical B2B or platform environment.
• Ability to rapidly learn new industries and technologies, becoming an effective product leader.
• Strong customer discovery and user research skills with strategy alignment.
• Excellent judgment and prioritization under uncertainty.
• Proven cross-functional partnership with Engineering and Design.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and execution for one or more mission-critical software products.
• Develop deep empathy for users through interviews and workflow observations.
• Ramp quickly into unfamiliar technical domains and synthesize concepts into direction.
• Define vision, strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics aligned with outcomes.
• Translate needs and constraints into clear initiatives and requirements.
• Lead user-centered discovery with Design and validate concepts before development.
• Collaborate with Engineering on tradeoffs and prioritization throughout development.
• Balance customer value with technical complexity, speed, and platform investments.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Design, Leadership, and customers.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate performance and outcomes.
• Clearly communicate decisions, priorities, and rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.
