Job summary

Salient in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own one or more product areas within the Marshall platform, collaborating with engineering, design, implementation, customers, and leadership to shape strategy, scope, and measurable outcomes. You will own the customer problem from discovery through launch and adoption, with emphasis on regulated financial services.

The role requires in-person collaboration at our SF office, traveling to learn workflows, and delivering 0-to-1

About the Role

We’re hiring Senior Product Managers to join Marshall. You will own one or more product areas end to end, working directly with engineering, design, implementation, customers, and company leadership. Scope will reflect the needs of each area: a large 0-to-1 platform or workflow may require a PM's full attention, while mature or closely related products may be owned together.

Your portfolio may evolve as products mature, customer adoption grows, and the PM team expands. In every case, you will own the customer problem, product direction, execution, launch, adoption, and measurable outcomes, not simply a feature backlog.

What You'll Own

• One or more major product areas within Marshall, with scope sized to their complexity, maturity, and customer needs.

• Existing products: expanding compliance, servicing, scorecards, and insights across calls and turning findings into operational action.

• Loan management system integrations: connecting lender systems through reusable integrations, canonical data models, and clear system-of-record boundaries.

• Workflow automation: launching opinionated 0-to-1 products on the LMS foundation as the platform and customer needs mature.

• End-to-end outcomes for your portfolio—from field discovery and strategy through specifications, launch, adoption, and measurable operational impact.

• Product decisions that strengthen shared platform capabilities rather than accumulating bespoke customer implementations.

• Active ownership of portfolio strategy, boundaries, sequencing, and product quality in partnership with the broader Marshall team.

What We're Looking For

• You’ve owned meaningful enterprise product areas end to end and can adjust your operating depth to the complexity of the problem.

• You’ve shipped 0-to-1 products from an ambiguous operational problem through production adoption.

• You go to the source. You'll travel, sit beside lender operators, and learn real workflows, exceptions, and workarounds.

• You define success through customer adoption and operational outcomes, not feature delivery alone.

• You can reason about integrations, data models, workflow state, permissions, migrations, auditability, and source-of-truth boundaries.

• You form a product opinion and know what to standardize, configure, or decline.

• You have instincts for regulated, high-consequence systems and safe failure behavior.

• You communicate clearly with frontline operators, lender executives, risk teams, and engineers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with loan servicing, collections, loan management systems, core banking, or adjacent financial operations.

• Experience building integration, data, workflow automation, system-of-record, compliance, or quality-management products.

• Background in contact-center analytics or AI-powered enterprise software.

We are extending that position into the integrations, operational record, and automated workflows lenders use to run servicing. You will own a meaningful part of that product surface and help define how the portfolio grows as new foundations and product areas emerge.
