Job summary

OPSWAT, a global leader in IT, OT, and ICS cybersecurity, seeks a Director of Product Management to own the MetaDefender Kiosk hardware line end-to-end. You will own vision, roadmap, packaging, pricing, and lifecycle across form factors, collaborating with hardware and software engineering, manufacturing, and field teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in product management.
• Direct experience with products that combine hardware and software—appliances, devices, or edge systems.
• Experience taking hardware products through regulatory certification and supply chain provenance requirements (FCC, CE, UL, RoHS, REACH, TAA or NDAA 889).
• Technical depth to discuss hardware architecture, Windows/Linux, networking, APIs, security, performance, logs, deployment, and enterprise management.
• Demonstrated AI-native working style using AI/agentic tools for research, prototyping, analysis, testing, documentation, and collaboration.
• Strong customer instinct and willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Commercial ownership mindset across adoption, revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction.
• Bias toward action—decisive without perfect information to keep engineering moving.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, requirements, packaging, competitive position, and lifecycle of the MetaDefender Kiosk hardware line across form factors.
• Own the hardware platform with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain—design, performance, interfaces, thermals, BOM, cost, reliability, serviceability.
• Own certification and compliance—FCC, CE, UL, RoHS, REACH, and TAA/NDAA origin documentation to avoid launch delays.
• Know the hardware failure rate and the drivers of returns; understand what customers like and dislike about the product.
• Own pricing and the licensing model for hardware plus subscription structures, support tiers, and trade-in motions.
• Define product data and telemetry strategy for fleets and how to gain usage insights in isolated/air-gapped deployments.
• Drive integration with My OPSWAT Central Management for fleet management, enrollment, updates, health, diagnostics, licensing, and APIs.
• Leverage MetaDefender technologies to create simple, effective workflows for operators.
• Collaborate with engineering using AI tools to research problems, prototype, analyze logs, and validate ideas.
• Spend time on customer sites to observe data movement across security boundaries and ensure field readiness.
• Own quality and treat recurring problems as product issues, driving root cause resolution with cross-functional teams.
