Job summary

General Motors (GM) is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the In-Vehicle Setup Experience. You will own the end-to-end onboarding journey, from vehicle association and sign-in to profile setup and feature configuration, ensuring a seamless and reliable experience across vehicle, mobile, and web surfaces.

You will collaborate with mobile, web, identity, privacy, and connected-services teams to translate research into actionable requirements and prioritization, driving KPI-driven improvements

Qualifications

• Experience defining product vision, strategy, roadmaps, requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Experience delivering products across multiple surfaces (vehicle, mobile, web, cloud, embedded).
• Ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, technical constraints, privacy and delivery timing.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the vision, strategy, roadmap, and success measures for in-vehicle setup.
• Own the in-vehicle setup journey from vehicle association and sign-in through profile creation, pairing, feature configuration, and completion.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, privacy, and legal teams to deliver a cohesive setup journey across touchpoints.
• Translate customer research and data into product requirements and investment recommendations.
• Define experiences for successful and unsuccessful paths including retry and deferment.
• Monitor KPIs like setup completion, activation, pairing, and time-to-completion.
• Support launch planning, rollout, and post-launch learning for global vehicle programs.
