Job summary

HID Global in Austin, TX, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of advanced authentication solutions.

You will translate market needs into prioritized requirements, drive PI planning within SAFe, and collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Services to deliver measurable business outcomes. This role requires 7–10 years of product management in auth/security and strong stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in product management, technology, business, or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of product management experience in authentication, identity, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS markets.
• Strong understanding of authentication technologies including FIDO, passkeys, MFA, and enterprise identity ecosystems.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale products in agile or SAFe environments.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial acumen and ability to balance technical feasibility with market impact.
• Experience designing passwordless authentication solutions for large enterprises is preferred.
• Portfolio-level planning and cross-product initiatives experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Portfolio Management and scaled agile methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for assigned authentication solutions.
• Translate customer needs, market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive insights into prioritized product requirements, backlogs, and release plans.
• Define clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and desired outcomes to guide Engineering delivery.
• Lead product participation in PI Planning and align roadmap priorities with business objectives.
• Establish and maintain customer and stakeholder feedback loops to inform product decisions and roadmap refinement.
• Define, monitor, and report key product performance indicators including revenue, adoption, customer value, and market performance.
• Coordinate launch readiness and go-to-market execution with Product Marketing, Sales, Technical Services, and cross-functional teams.
• Represent the product in customer engagements, executive reviews, and industry discussions.
• Identify product risks, dependencies, and gaps and drive appropriate actions.
