Job summary

Imprivata, based in Waltham, MA, seeks a Senior Product Manager to own the IAM Services strategy, roadmap, and delivery. You’ll coordinate with engineering, security, and customer teams to build scalable identity and access management capabilities across product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise software, SaaS, cybersecurity, identity and access management, or platform services.
• Experience shipping reusable services, APIs, or platform capabilities consumed by multiple products or engineering teams.
• Working knowledge of IAM concepts such as directories, synchronization, federation/SSO, authentication/MFA, passwordless, consent, audit, and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous customer and market problems into product strategy, prioritized requirements, and shipped outcomes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and cross‑functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for IAM Services capabilities.
• Lead discovery with customers, field teams, and internal product teams to identify high‑value shared platform needs.
• Translate strategy into clear use cases, requirements, success metrics, rollout plans, and admin/API experience patterns.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Privacy, and DevOps to deliver secure, reliable, observable services with clear SLOs and tenant isolation.
• Drive standards‑first interoperability using OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and documented APIs where appropriate.
• Define adoption and health metrics and help product‑line teams migrate to and consume shared IAM services.
• Support go‑to‑market, enablement, and customer expectation‑setting with Sales, Marketing, Support, Services, and Customer Success.
• Communicate roadmap, priorities, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to executives, customers, partners, and cross‑functional teams.
• Other duties as assigned and required.
