Qualifications

  • PM experience building rich user experiences and platform automation.
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs into product capabilities.
  • Degree in software engineering or related field.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own and innovate platform capabilities such as resource optimization using IaaS/PaaS and open-source tech.
  • Apply AI to identify pain points, gaps in scaling and availability, and build product concepts.
  • Engage with customers and partners to roadmap capabilities and gather feedback.

The Experience

The Hyperforce team is seeking a Product Manager with a strong builder mindset. The role requires technical proficiency and passion for platform & infrastructure-as-a-service, developer experience and applying AI for solving hard platform problems such as resource optimization, scaling and availability. The role will focus on building new technologies that can scale the compute infrastructure while also running it in a cost effective manner.

What You'll Actually Be Doing
  • Own and innovate towards building strategic platform capabilities such as resource optimization by leveraging the knowledge of Infrastructure/platform-as-a-service and open-source technologies.
  • Apply AI to understand user pain-points, investigate product maturity gaps such as in scaling and availability, build product concepts, and product ops.
  • Engage with customers and partners to build product capability roadmap, get product feedback, and identify additional challenges and opportunities.
  • Represent Salesforce as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, and through community sites.
Required Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years minimum of Product Management, Solution Architect or similar experience.
  • Technical depth in user facing products, infrastructure/platform-as-a-service (IaaS/PaaS), containers/Kubernetes, CI/CD and observability.
  • Proficiency and growth mindset towards leveraging AI (eg. Claude Code) and data analytics tools (eg. SQL).
  • Product management experience in developing rich user experiences, KPIs for measuring user journey and experience, and building platform automation for self-service.
  • Demonstrated experience in building product prototypes, writing strategy and translating customer needs into product capabilities.
  • A technical degree required, preferably in Software Engineering.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in resource optimization techniques such as leveraging Karpenter and Kueue is preferred.
  • Direct experience of working on and leveraging AWS, Google Cloud and Azure services.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $260,100 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $207,800 - $285,800 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
