Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Cloudera Manager product in California. You will own the product strategy and roadmap for a key lifecycle management tool used by large enterprises, spanning on-premises to cloud deployments.

You will partner with Engineering, PMO, Product Marketing, and Field teams to deliver a market-leading, hybrid cloud experience with simplified operations and guardrails across thousands of nodes.

Qualifications

• Bsc/Msc in related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise software with at least 2 years of Product Management experience.
• Strong understanding of open datalakes, data movement, enterprise data governance, and big data architecture.
• On-Premise knowledge: basic virtualization and data center networking.
• Public Cloud knowledge: VM-based deployments and object storage (S3, ADLS, GCS) and major hyperscaler networks.
• Experience simplifying complex developer-centric platforms into intuitive, governed products.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Cloudera Manager to serve large enterprises across industries.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, PMO, Product Marketing, and Field teams.
• Drive UX modernization and guardrails to reduce operational friction and outages.
• Define and enforce release lifecycle policies for API stability and backward compatibility.
• Monitor KPIs to improve operational velocity and feature adoption while reducing escalations.
