Job summary

InterSystems seeks a Senior Product Manager to own the roadmap for our healthcare interoperability portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of healthcare standards knowledge and strategic product thinking.

You will work with world‑class engineers, engage directly with enterprise customers, and influence the direction of some of the most business‑critical healthcare software in use today. You will lead AI‑native interoperability initiatives, represent InterSystems at HL7 and HIMSS, and drive

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical product management in healthcare IT.
• Expertise in HL7 V2.x, FHIR R4, CDA/C-CDA, SMART on FHIR.
• Experience with healthcare data transformations (HL7 V2 to FHIR, CDA to FHIR).
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems and TEFCA or QHIN data exchange workflows.
• Hands-on familiarity with at least one enterprise integration engine (InterSystems Health Connect/Ensemble, Rhapsody, Mirth Connect).
• Ability to drive product strategy, manage cross-functional delivery teams, and communicate with executives and engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree (MS, MPH, MBA) a plus.
• Participation in HL7, Da Vinci, ONC HIMSS interoperability initiatives; ONC Health IT certification experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-year roadmap for the interoperability platform.
• Translate standards and regulatory requirements into prioritized features with milestones.
• Conduct structured customer discovery with enterprise accounts to validate direction.
• Lead competitive analysis and translate findings into roadmap decisions.
• Define AI-native interoperability strategy and execution plans.
• Manage product backlog with clear PRDs and acceptance criteria for teams.
• Present roadmap to enterprise customers and engage at HL7/HIMSS events.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing/customer success for GTM and customer escalation paths.
• Define and track KPIs across the interoperability portfolio.
