Job summary

InterSystems in Boston seeks an experienced Product Manager to lead the InterSystems Data Platform’s healthcare interoperability engine and platforms. You will drive the roadmap from discovery to GA, translating HL7/FHIR standards and TEFCA requirements into actionable features for enterprise accounts.

You will collaborate across sales, marketing, and engineering, contribute to AI-native interoperability strategy, and communicate roadmaps at HIMSS/HL7 events while guiding KPIs and data-driven

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical product management in healthcare IT, focused on interoperability.
• Experience with HL7 V2.x, FHIR R4, CDA/C-CDA, SMART on FHIR and X12 EDI.
• Experience with healthcare data transformations HL7 V2 to FHIR, CDA to FHIR.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Oracle Health, Meditech) and TEFCA/QHIN workflows.
• Hands-on familiarity with enterprise integration engines to read routing logic and transformations.
• Ability to drive product strategy and cross-functional delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus.
• Coding experience in Python/Java to prototype FHIR API calls.
• Participation in HL7/Da Vinci/HIMSS initiatives; HTI-1/USCDI v3 experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive multi-year product roadmap for InterSystems Data Platform interoperability.
• Translate standards and regulatory requirements into prioritized features with milestones.
• Run structured customer discovery with IDNs, HIEs, payers, and life sciences.
• Lead competitive analysis and translate findings into roadmap decisions.
• Define strategy for AI-native interoperability.
• Manage backlog and write PRDs and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
• Act as external technical voice; present roadmap to enterprise customers; engage HIMSS/HL7 groups.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, and support on GTM and escalation paths.
• Define and track product KPIs; synthesize feedback and adoption data into roadmap refinement.
