Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Record to Report to lead continuous process and system improvements within the Controllership, Tax, Treasury, and Revenue Recognition domains as part of the Finance Transformation program.

The role requires shaping the product vision, roadmaps, and business outcomes while harmonizing partner interests with IT delivery, translating requirements into user stories for engineers and BSAs, and coordinating with global teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years experience implementing Core Financials.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting with 8-12 yrs information systems experience.
• Expertise with Oracle/SAP/Workday in end-to-end Invoice to Cash and Record to Report.
• Experience with enterprise system implementations and solution architecture for global companies.
• Finance system implementations experience for large companies.
• Experience with process improvement or transformation.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the delivery of a product roadmap incorporating projects, features and other key initiatives.
• Influence priorities and approach at roadmap level.
• Work with the scrum team in planning and execution of their work.
• Prioritize work to be delivered by the delivery teams at a sprint level; translate requirements into user stories.
• Communicate delivery scope, status and questions back to business partners.
• Serve as conduit to business partners; work with multiple business, IT and Product partners.
• Identify delivery capacity needs based on the roadmap and address them with management.
• Anticipate blockers and obstacles, and drive solutions.
• Guide business partners through the work intake process and milestones.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives as a delivery component.
• Deliver innovative solutions maximizing Salesforce on Salesforce applications based on business value.
• Create and groom a backlog of well-formed stories for implementation by delivery teams.
• Review technical solutions for compliance to business processes and IT standards.
• Lead to the definition of done from feature acceptance criteria and ensure business value.
• Seek opportunities for process optimization or new processes/policies.
• Act as the authority for solutions owned by the team.
