Job summary

Forerunner is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead Field Intelligence, owning strategy and the roadmap for how field teams capture and act on information. You will shape mobile/offline workflows, AI-guided inspections, geospatial context, and end-to-end experiences across platforms.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to ensure adoption and measurable value, while aligning with regulatory workflows and field operations needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience owning a complex product area from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Excellent product judgment; separate urgent vs durable needs, make decisions with incomplete information, and turn ambiguity into bets.
• A builder’s mindset; use prototypes, data, workflow models, and hands‑on approaches to learn and guide the team.
• Experience shipping AI-powered product experiences to real users and making them trustworthy in production.
• Strong customer instincts and ability to learn from users whose work is operational, technical, or domain-specific.
• Track record of shipping workflow-heavy B2B or enterprise software with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to partner closely with Engineering and Design with enough technical fluency to discuss data, integrations, AI capabilities, and system tradeoffs.
• Clear, concise communication and ability to align stakeholders around priorities and outcomes.
• Comfort operating with autonomy in a growing company with a high bar for quality and a collaborative, low-ego culture.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for Field Intelligence from data capture through review and resolution.
• Engage with inspectors, field crews, program managers, and leaders to understand real-world workflows.
• Identify high-leverage AI opportunities to improve fieldwork while ensuring user control and transparency.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design to frame problems, define requirements, and ship end-to-end experiences.
• Define success metrics: adoption, task completion, data quality, time saved, and customer outcomes.
• Lead discovery through interviews, prototypes, pilots, usage data, and experiments.
• Balance immediate customer needs with shared platform capabilities, reliability, and long-term differentiation.
• Develop rollout plans for workflows used in regulated environments.
• Equip Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing with product narratives and launch materials.
• Communicate priorities, risks, and learnings clearly across the company.
