AOEU in Osage, IA, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own a full product area end-to-end, aligning it with our broader priorities and delivering measurable value to educators. You’ll stay hands-on with engineers, designers, and curriculum experts to translate strategy into tangible work while ensuring coherence across squads.

You’ll lead discovery with educators, define outcomes, write clear epics and user stories, and champion data- and AI-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of owning a product or product area with measurable outcomes.
• Strong discovery skills and comfort engaging users directly; able to defend product decisions with evidence and judgment.
• Experience leading across design, engineering, and curriculum domains.
• A track record of turning ambiguity into clarity and aligning big-picture strategy with detail.

Responsibilities

• Own your product-area end-to-end and define success metrics across your area.
• Translate company strategy into a clear product-area strategy and priorities.
• Lead discovery directly through educator engagement and ensure quality discovery across squads.
• Define Epics and write User Stories with acceptance criteria and edge cases.
• Align stakeholders and maintain cross-functional momentum without excessive coordination.
• Track performance against outcomes and drive data- and AI-informed experimentation.
