• Lead end‑to‑end payment network integrations; manage certification, rules, and operational readiness.

• Partner with engineering to drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and releases.
• Ensure secure, compliant payment experiences through collaboration with fraud, risk, and compliance teams.
• Oversee transaction lifecycle including authorization, posting, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Engage with stakeholders across business, operations, customer support, and technology.

Role Overview

The Senior Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of next‑generation digital payment capabilities, with emphasis on real‑time money movement, P2P payments, and integrations with major payment networks such as Zelle, RTP, FedNow, and ACH. This role requires strong product leadership, deep payments expertise, and the ability to drive cross‑functional alignment across engineering, operations, fraud/risk, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision & Strategy — Define and evolve the long‑term strategy for digital payments, including instant transfers, P2P experiences, and money‑movement enhancements.
• Payment Network Integrations — Lead end‑to‑end integrations with digital payment networks; manage certification, rule compliance, and operational readiness.
• Backlog Ownership — Convert business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and a prioritized product backlog.
• Agile Delivery Leadership — Partner with engineering to drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release execution.
• Fraud, Risk & Compliance Alignment — Ensure secure, compliant payment experiences through close collaboration with fraud, risk, and compliance teams.
• Transaction Lifecycle Oversight — Oversee payment flows including authorization, posting, settlement, exceptions, and reconciliation.
• Stakeholder Engagement — Act as the primary liaison across business, operations, customer support, and technology teams.
• Data‑Driven Decision Making — Define and track KPIs such as payment success rate, fraud loss rate, adoption, and transaction latency.
• Platform Stability & Incident Support — Support production stability, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management or product ownership experience.
• Hands‑on experience with digital payment networks (Zelle, RTP, FedNow, ACH, or comparable).
• Strong understanding of payment rails, settlement lifecycle, and financial‑services regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead Agile teams and deliver complex technical products.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with banking core systems, payment orchestration engines, or API‑driven financial platforms.
• Familiarity with network certification processes, fraud‑detection tools, or risk‑scoring models.
• Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent.
