Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a self-directed Senior Product Manager to shape dealer-facing products across inventory workflows, trade-in, and market intelligence. You will own ambiguous problems from discovery to delivery, turning dealer needs and product data into clear strategy and high-quality experiences.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams, setting direction, measuring outcomes, and ensuring accessible, trustworthy workflows for busy dealership

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, ownership of complex B2B SaaS/operational products
• Experience with workflow-heavy products and data-informed delivery
• Judgment under ambiguity; define problems and align stakeholders
• Customer-centered prioritization balancing usability, value, feasibility
• Clear written and verbal communication for exec-level narratives
• Experience with analytics, experimentation, and product instrumentation
• Experience in automotive retail, marketplaces, or multi-sided software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set direction and prioritize outcomes across dealer workflows
• Lead discovery with customers and partners; turn insights into bets
• Own end-to-end delivery with Design, Engineering, Data, Operations, and GTM
• Improve workflows: inventory, trade-ins, leads, pricing, access
• Define success measures and instrument experiences
• Identify gaps, make calls, surface tradeoffs early
• Ensure complex workflows are trustworthy and user-friendly
