Job summary

Gallup is seeking a Senior Product Manager for its data platform in San Francisco to shape how nearly a century of data informs analytics, AI/ML workflows and product development.

You will own the data platform strategy, partner with engineers, and drive self-service capabilities across ingestion, transformation and data modeling to enable scalable, trusted insights for leaders worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• Seven years of product management experience, including four years on data platforms or developer products.
• Deep understanding of data engineering, ingestion, pipelines and data modeling.
• On-site work at Gallup’s San Francisco office at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and road map for Gallup’s enterprise data platform, ingestion pipelines, semantic layers and tooling.
• Translate architectural direction into quarterly plans with milestones and adoption goals.
• Partner with data architects and engineers to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure.
• Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and identify reusable abstractions for self-service.
• Establish data‑as‑a‑product standards, SLAs, data contracts and governance.
• Shape governance for data quality, schema controls, change management and observability.
• Serve as the front door for platform needs and translate demand into scalable problems.
• Communicate platform capabilities and road map progress to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
