Job summary

Firsthand is seeking a Senior Product Manager/Director to own how data and software become useful for our community teams, individuals, and health plan partners. You will treat the care model, data, and technology as interdependent products aligned to delivering the right care at the right time.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Data, Clinical, Community, and Operations to shape the platform and care model, translating research into prioritized work streams and measurable outcomes for

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience (10+ for Director).
• Track record of owning a product from strategy through roadmap, delivery, and iteration.
• Strong grounding in design thinking, discovery, prioritization frameworks, and agile delivery.
• Experience working closely with engineers, designers, data scientists, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data products, analytics, or data platforms; AI/ML-enabled features.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to set goals and explain decisions.
• Experience designing or improving operating models, service models, or workflows with frontline teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to write clear specs for engineers and concise CEO updates.

Responsibilities

• Define vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap for software platforms and data products tied to business outcomes.
• Prioritize initiatives using evidence, sizing, and strategic fit; build business cases and report progress to leadership.
• Treat data as a product and build predictive tools to support outreach, risk spotting, and day-to-day decisions.
• Translate research and goals into clear priorities, specifications and acceptance criteria; lead discovery and delivery with Engineering and stakeholders.
