Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Credit to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. In this role, you will own the strategy and roadmap for a credit platform that supports client needs, regulatory requirements, and business growth. You will partner closely with engineering, compliance, and cross-functional stakeholders to define scalable solutions, shape technical direction, and bring new credit capabilities to market. This position requires a strong blend of product leadership, technical fluency, and customer engagement across complex credit systems. The ideal candidate will help ensure the platform delivers reliable, compliant, and high-value credit experiences.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $120,600 – $163,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Shape the credit platform roadmap by defining and driving multi-quarter strategies aligned with client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Define requirements that scale by authoring detailed product requirements and technical documentation for engineering teams.
• Drive cross-functional execution by coordinating across teams to bring new credit products to market.
• Influence system architecture by collaborating with engineering on decisions affecting account management and transaction processing.
• Champion API excellence by ensuring credit account APIs are reliable, scalable, and seamlessly integrated.
• Own the product roadmap by aligning feature prioritization with broader business goals and client roadmaps.
• Champion the customer by engaging with external customers to validate solutions and ensure delivered features create value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in credit cards or lending, managing complex platforms end-to-end.
• 5+ years of experience with backend systems and APIs, engaging fluently with engineering teams.
• Deep technical knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, and production environments, with the ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs.
• Exceptional communication skills to simplify complex technical and regulatory topics for diverse audiences.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to credit products.
