Senior Product Manager, Core Data Platform

Job summary

Jobtailor in Utah is seeking a Product Manager to lead data platform initiatives, align data definitions across product and engineering teams, and coordinate a multi-quarter effort without direct authority over the teams doing the work.

You will work with principal architects to trade off data modeling decisions, ensure clean APIs and contracts, and build a foundation for AI features and customer-facing products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager, with a proven track record of shipping impactful products.
• Technical depth in data modeling, API design, or data infrastructure.
• Proven ability to drive alignment across teams and stakeholders you do not directly control.
• Comfort with ambiguity at the architectural level.
• Clear, direct communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deep experience working with qualitative stakeholder feedback and quantitative data to inform platform decisions.
