Job summary

Gen Digital is seeking a senior Product Manager focused on platform and infrastructure products, especially identity and access management. You will own requirements for a shared identity model, coordinate multi-team efforts, and craft detailed PRDs and strategic updates for engineering and leadership.

Successful candidates will have 5–8+ years in product management, deep platform experience, and the ability to communicate complex platform tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical

Job description

• Own requirements for the shared identity and entitlement model, including members, roles, and access


• Make platform decisions that other teams build on


• Build and maintain a roadmap based on technical feasibility, cross-team demand, and long-term extensibility


• Coordinate engineering and multiple product teams with different priorities


• Run cross-team alignment conversations and keep decisions moving


• Write detailed PRDs that engineering teams can implement without extensive follow-up


• Resolve open architectural decisions


• Communicate platform strategy and tradeoffs to engineers and senior leadership


• Write specifications, strategy memos, and executive updates

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of product management experience


• Meaningful experience owning platform or infrastructure products, such as identity, entitlements, licensing, access management, or similar


• Consumer feature work alone is insufficient


• Strong technical fluency, including reading API contracts and data models


• Ability to reason about platform decisions with long-term consequences


• Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional alignment across teams without formal authority


• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to write clearly for technical and non-technical audiences and present confidently to senior stakeholders


• Experience building platform capabilities adopted by multiple product teams or business units (strongly preferred)


• Background in identity, access management, or entitlement/licensing systems (strongly preferred)


• Experience operating in a multi-brand or multi-business-unit company (strongly preferred)


• Ability to work from one of Gen Digital’s offices at least three days per week


• Ability to work in the country where the job is located, with visa sponsorship status disclosed during application
