Job summary

Bamboo Health is seeking a data-driven Product Manager to own Controlled Substances data and reporting solutions. You will partner with engineering, analytics, and leadership to deliver value for healthcare organizations, pharmacies, and government agencies.

Responsibilities include translating complex regulatory requirements into scalable product solutions, leveraging SQL and Tableau, and shaping AI-enabled capabilities to improve data governance and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field such as data analytics, information systems, computer science, or health administration.
• 5+ years of product management, product analytics, or data analysis with increasing scope.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and ability to query large, complex datasets.
• Tableau dashboard development, data visualization, and analytical storytelling.
• Experience translating business needs and data insights into product requirements and solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable in regulated industries such as healthcare.
• Experience with healthcare/pharmacy data, data governance, and metadata management.
• Familiarity with Agile product development and tools like Jira/Confluence.
• Experience supporting product discovery, roadmap planning, and customer-facing initiatives.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and regulations.
• Experience using Python or other analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for Controlled Substances data, reporting, and regulatory landscape.
• Use SQL, Tableau, and analytics tools to identify needs, investigate data questions, and support decisions.
• Own discovery, prioritization, definition, and delivery of data/product initiatives.
• Define strategy for data products, governance, metadata, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to manage expectations and scope.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve governance and scalability.
• Support development of AI-enabled analytics capabilities with use cases and success metrics.
• Translate feedback and data insights into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Support user acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet expectations.
• Evaluate priorities and tradeoffs to protect delivery focus.
• Create and maintain product documentation and data definitions.
