Job summary

BambooHR is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the data platform that underpins all AI experiences and integrations. You will shape canonical data models, define data contracts, and enable rapid, accurate product development across internal teams.

This role focuses on data infrastructure over customer UI, collaborating with architects and engineers to balance tradeoffs and drive scalable data solutions for BambooHR’s AI-powered products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager, shipping impactful products.
• Technical depth in data modeling or data infrastructure.
• Ability to drive alignment across teams and stakeholders you do not directly control.
• Experience with AI or ML infrastructure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive alignment on data definitions across product and engineering teams.
• Coordinate a multi-team, multi-quarter effort without direct authority.
• Partner with principal architects to make principled data modeling tradeoffs.
• Ensure the data platform has clean APIs and well-documented contracts.
• Build the internal case for platform investment by linking decisions to outcomes.
• Own the data catalog and validation process for new domains and entities.
• Measure adoption and coverage and identify blockers to progress.
• Collaborate with AI platform teams to support AI-driven experiences.
