Job summary

Amazon Legal seeks a Product Manager for Contract Central, the contract lifecycle platform powering millions of documents and thousands of users. You will own the vision, strategy and roadmap, collaborating with design, engineering and legal teams to balance features with platform health and drive adoption and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with end to end product delivery.
• Experience influencing senior leadership through data driven insights.
• Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of key customer experience metrics and methodology (e.g., NPS).
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience owning technology products.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for Contract Central. Decide what to build and what to leave out, often with incomplete data, and explain your choices in writing to senior managers and Directors, and to VPs when needed.
• Watch business users, lawyers and admins use the product, and separate problems many of them share from one-off requests.
• Work with design and engineering to take steps out of intake, approvals, signing and workflow setup, and decide where AI and automation should do the work, such as prefilling forms or routing contracts for signature.
• Evaluate technical proposals by asking what each design makes harder to change later, and balance new features with the health of a platform that hundreds of internal teams build on.
• Own launches and their results. Define metrics that separate adoption from outcomes such as satisfaction, cycle time and contracts completed without Legal, and pull the data yourself.
• Align lawyers, legal operations, tax, procurement and business teams with different priorities, and mentor and help hire other product managers.
