Sequencing is a fully remote, venture-backed company redefining consumer genetics through AI-powered insights. We seek a Senior Product Manager, Consumer, to own the roadmap for consumer-facing and subscription products, collaborating with Engineering, Bioinformatics, Design, and Customer Success to deliver accessible, clinically relevant experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience shipping consumer-facing SaaS, health tech, and consumer journeys.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills for specs, timelines, and plans.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, design, data science, and customer success.
• Comfort with agile workflows and Jira/Confluence usage.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the end-to-end consumer product roadmap in Jira for web and app experiences.
• Lead cross-functional discovery translating user insights into product plans.
• Write specs, user flows, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Coordinate execution with Engineering, Design, Bioinformatics, and CS on consumer initiatives.
• Monitor feedback channels and translate themes into roadmap priorities.
• Own backlog grooming and keep Jira boards organized and up-to-date.
• Partner with Design to ensure UX reflects consumer requirements and edge cases.
• Define and track success metrics linking to engagement and retention.
• Champion user-centric planning and measurable value delivery.
• Drive disciplined use of Jira and Confluence as documentation sources.
