Job summary

Alkira seeks a Senior Product Manager to own areas of the Alkira Cloud Services Exchange (CSX) and directly influence the roadmap for Alkira’s on-demand network infrastructure solution.

Based in the San Jose area, this hybrid role requires onsite at the San Jose office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with responsibilities spanning strategy, market analysis, collaboration with Engineering, pricing, and solution adoption with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in product management or technical marketing.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in networking or related domain.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing architecture (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• 3+ years of experience with multi-tenant cloud applications (SaaS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on ability to develop key features of the solution.
• Start-up experience with proven business growth.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and execution in your area of focus.
• Conduct market analysis, create product strategy and business cases; define requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering to build required capabilities.
• Develop pricing, positioning and collateral.
• Support Sales with TCO analysis, pricing and technical discussions.
• Engage with customers and partners to drive solution adoption.
