Job summary

Pulumi is hiring a deeply technical Product Manager to own the roadmap for Pulumi Core and the Providers ecosystem. This role blends CLI/UX craft, deep technical product thinking, and open source community leadership to shape cloud engineering for the next decade.

You’ll drive end-to-end product delivery, engage with a large developer community, and partner with the providers team to ensure broad, high-quality coverage across cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, engineering, or technical PM roles.
• Experience building developer tools or platforms (CLI, SDKs, APIs).
• Strong intuition for CLI and terminal UX with good error messaging.
• Open source experience and comfort operating in public.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap for Pulumi Core and Providers ecosystem.
• Balance long-term architecture with community needs.
• Engage with the Pulumi community via GitHub, Slack, and calls.
• Build in public: RFCs, roadmap posts, and open source direction.
• Collaborate with Providers team on strategy and tooling.
• Translate enterprise needs into OSS product decisions.
• Define success metrics for OSS adoption and community health.
• Deliver end-to-end product lifecycle from idea to GA.
