Job summary

Aspen Technology, a business unit inside Emerson Corporation, is seeking a Director, Release Train Product Management to lead the program backlog and deliver value within SAFe.

You will coach a team of Product Owners, align with Solution Management and Architects, and drive PI planning, Lean portfolio alignment, and feature delivery. This role is based in Bedford, MA and offers strong executive leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive product-centric software development leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Chemical preference is noted.
• Experience in process engineering and optimization with domain products.
• Ability to communicate product vision and road maps to teams.
• Proven Agile leadership within SAFe environments.
• Strong analytical skills to leverage dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

• Drive program backlog and prioritize features to maximize value.
• Lead PI Planning and align with ART objectives and strategic outcomes.
• Grow and coach a team of Product Owners for delivery excellence.
• Collaborate with Owners, Architects, and Engineering to refine backlog.
