Job summary

Canopy in Draper, UT, is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive AI-first product strategy and shape features with design and engineering leadership. You will collaborate across functions to ensure customer delight and responsible, data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management or closely related roles.
• Ability to conduct unbiased research and design products people love.
• Experience building a cross-functional product strategy aligned with engineering, sales, CS and marketing.
• Builder mentality; shipped products end-to-end.
• Demonstrated AI fluency in product thinking and execution.
• Experience with third‑party integrations and complex ecosystems.
• Clear, transparent communication and service-like influence.
• Strong habit of analyzing product usage data.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with design and engineering to champion customer perspective and drive product decisions.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to shape product experiences and direction.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback from users, SMEs, designers, engineers, sales, and marketing for quality implementations.
• Perform ongoing market and competitive analyses to identify opportunities in the accounting space.
• Conduct daily user research with highly involved customers to inform decisions.
• Maintain data-driven decision making and obsess over gathered information.
• Support Canopy’s culture of customer delight, teamwork, and transparency.
• Ship features with urgency, balancing speed and quality, and pushing for AI-powered improvements.
• Define how AI can be leveraged across the product suite and guide prompts/workflows.
