Job summary

Customer.io is seeking a Senior Product Manager to turn customer signals into impactful products focused on Workflows. You will partner with design and engineering to ship high-value features and measure success against real customer outcomes.

You'll synthesize customer and market research, analytics, and your own judgment to create a customer-first roadmap, operating with autonomy in a cross-functional team to deliver fast, reliable results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or platforms using behavioral data.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with metrics dashboards.
• Proven ability to lead feature development independently and deliver outcomes with small teams.
• High product intuition with humility and experimentation.
• Exceptional written communication and decision-framing in remote/async environments.
• Experience using or developing AI-powered tooling in product workflows.
• Technical background with ability to build basic web apps and work with data models/APIs.
• Track record as a point of contact or DRI for engineering initiatives.
• Experience with complex workflows or automations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and validate customer problems through user research, analytics, partner insights, and AI-powered discovery.
• Prototype rapidly and run focused experiments to test hypotheses early in development.
• Lead cross-functional planning with Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders around clear goals.
• Drive feature strategy and influence roadmaps based on customer impact and market opportunity.
• Break down projects into incremental releases using reuse and system thinking.
• Define product success metrics and track adoption, engagement, and retention.
• Take on Technology Lead responsibilities for initiatives, including data analysis and coordinating work.
• Review product metrics after launch and coordinate with GTM to ensure successful outcomes.
