Job summary

Avathon, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own Planning on the Avathon platform, starting with integrated demand planning, covering statistical and ML-based forecasting, demand sensing, demand-supply matching, inventory positioning and S&OP for energy, mining, manufacturing and aerospace customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management with 4+ years owning a supply chain planning product
• Experience at a planning software vendor or leading planning systems at a large manufacturer
• Depth in demand planning with statistical and ML forecasting methods and metrics
• Breadth across plan-to-fulfill: demand-supply matching, inventory optimization, allocation and S&OP
• Experience shipping AI or ML-driven product features to enterprise customers; agentic planning workflows are a plus

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, roadmap and priorities for Planning across demand, supply, inventory and S&OP
• Define requirements for demand segmentation, forecast value-add (FVA), and bias/accuracy analytics
• Turn deployments into reusable product requirements and track adoption/value
• Work with data science so model outputs become actionable recommendations for planners
• Write clear requirements and acceptance criteria; run release reviews with engineering
• Track adoption and value delivered, such as forecast accuracy and inventory turns
