Job summary

3M in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Advanced Materials. You will own the EBO product lifecycle and translate strategy into plans that drive profitable, in-market performance.

Lead roadmap, feature prioritization, and business-case development for next-generation optical interconnect platforms, collaborating with R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams to accelerate time to market and customer adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related technical and/or Marketing field (completed and verified prior to start).
• Five (5) years of product management, product development, or technical marketing experience in optical interconnects, photonics, semiconductors, or related data center hardware.
• Five (5) years of experience managing products through NPI or Stage-Gate processes from concept through volume production.

Responsibilities

• Own the advanced materials EBO product lifecycle and translate strategy into actionable plans for in-market performance.
• Lead product strategy, roadmap delivery, feature prioritization and business-case development.
• Translate voice of customer into product requirements, architecture choices and development priorities.
• Develop product business cases, forecasts and pricing strategies using market insight and scenario planning.
• Coordinate across R&D, supply chain, manufacturing, commercial teams and partners to accelerate time to market.
