Senior Product Manager - Access Control & AI Platforms

Job summary

Hanwha Vision America is seeking a high-impact Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of our access control solutions portfolio, at the intersection of hardware, cloud, and AI. You will partner with engineering, sales, and leadership to define what we build, why we build it, and how we win in a competitive market.

This is a build-and-scale opportunity, not maintenance. You should be a self-starter with deep access control domain expertise, a sharp eye for detail, and a track record

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management in access control or related B2B SaaS/hardware
• Deep understanding of access control hardware and software (readers, controllers, credentials; cloud/on-prem/hybrid)
• Proven ability to take products from concept to launch and drive measurable business impact
• Experience building customer-facing products and conducting voice-of-customer research at scale
• Experience working with partners, OEMs, channel integrators, and external vendors
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures, modern SaaS models, and API/integration ecosystems
• Strong analytical mindset and data-driven prioritization
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and design collaboration tools like Figma
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with competing priorities
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Electronics or related field (or equivalent)
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer sites and industry events

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product roadmap for access control solutions
• Lead voice-of-customer sessions, field discovery interviews, and on-site visits
• Translate customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and specs
• Lead competitive analysis and position the product portfolio
• Develop data-driven prioritization frameworks and manage the backlog with engineering
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing and support
• Support GTM launches with documentation, training materials, and collateral
• Understand pricing, packaging, ecosystem dynamics, and profitability levers
• Engage with OEM partners, hardware suppliers, and vendors for integration and lifecycle planning
• Represent the portfolio at industry events and customer meetings
• Manage lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, including migration paths
