Smartscale is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own end-to-end product development in an AI-first environment. You will lead from investigation to launch and iteration, partnering with leadership on a platform used by millions and growing fast.

You will build with AI daily, run fast experiments, measure outcomes, and drive data-informed decisions. Fluency in English and strong collaboration with engineers, designers, and executives are essential.

Job description

Our client is shaping what it means to connect with AI, building the world’s largest AI companionship platform. This Senior Product Manager role is built differently, focusing on end-to-end ownership within a developer squad. You will steer product development from investigation to launch and iteration, working directly with leadership on a product used by over 50 million people and growing rapidly.

Own the work end to end, not just a piece of it (understand problem, choose approach, build solution with AI-assisted coding, launch, measure, iterate with few handoffs)

Build with AI every day (use AI tools for research, analysis, prototyping, debugging)

Decide what's worth pursuing, and test it fast (identify opportunities, design smallest meaningful experiment)

Let the results determine what happens next (define success, analyze outcome, use learnings to improve, expand, or stop)

Work embedded in a software engineering squad (partner with Leads, Co-founders, designers, engineers; communicate progress)

Keep momentum high (surface blockers, challenge assumptions, find alternative routes)

AI Building Experience Personally built and shipped a functional feature, experiment, prototype, workflow, or tool using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex). AI tools are part of daily work.

Data-Driven Decision Making Uses data to make product decisions, can name and influence metrics, has run A/B tests, product experiments, data deep-dives, or user research.

Ownership & Ambiguity Tolerance Takes ownership and moves without waiting for certainty, comfortable with ambiguity, creates clarity through investigation, building, testing, and learning.

Communication & Collaboration Communicates clearly and collaborates directly with stakeholders, asks right questions, challenges assumptions constructively, fully fluent in English.
