Job description

About Faire

Faire is an online wholesale marketplace built on the belief that the future is local — independent retailers around the globe are doing more revenue than Walmart and Amazon combined, but individually, they are small compared to these massive entities. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so that small businesses everywhere can compete with these big box and e-commerce giants.

By supporting the growth of independent businesses, Faire is driving positive economic impact in local communities, globally. We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

About this role

Senior Product Managers atFaire combine a strong customer-first mindset with systems thinking and a highly collaborative approach. As a Senior PM at Faire, you'll shape product strategy, define and align on roadmaps, and lead execution across cross-functional teams. You’ll work on high-impact products that directly support independent brands and retailers, playing a key role in advancing Faire’s mission to help small businesses thrive. This is a chance to drive meaningful outcomes in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What you’ll do

  • Build programs to support customers alongside shipping great technology products
  • Understand the business equation and flywheel that make our marketplace work – and accelerate it
  • Work with and learn from a broad range of world-class leaders across go-to-market, ops, and finance, as well as engineering, design, and data science
  • Make decisions alongside company founders and the CEO
  • Empower small businesses around the world to chase their dreams and invest in their local communities
  • Customer Obsession: Champion the voice of the customer by deeply understanding their needs, pain points, and behaviors through ongoing research, feedback loops, and user engagement.
  • Experimentation & Learning: Help define hypotheses, support A/B testing, and analyze results to inform product decisions.
  • Execution & Delivery: Help manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ensure smooth day-to-day execution in partnership with your team.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with design, engineering, and data science to align on priorities and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Communication & Alignment: Share updates, learnings, and progress regularly with teammates and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • You have 5+ years of experience at a tech company in a product, software development, or analytical role or as a startup founder
  • You’re an extraordinarily fast learner. You have the natural curiosity, low ego, and intellectual horsepower to deeply understand new topics and pick up new skills in a very short time.
  • You are relentlessly resourceful. When something needs to get done, you always find a way to make it happen. Even when the work is hard, you power through it and execute with limited information and ambiguity.
  • You are a creative problem-solver. You excel at identifying unintuitive solutions to tough problems.
  • You are analytical and have experience driving business insights and decisions from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • You can communicate complex ideas compellingly and simply in both written and verbal communication.
  • You are passionate. You are optimistic with a positive energy that other people draw upon.
  • You care deeply about developing products and solutions that will create the best experience for our customers.
  • You’re an inspiring leader who is excited about the day-to-day of understanding our customers and working with a strong team to build improvements for them.
  • You care deeply about developing products and solutions that will create the best experience for our customers.
