Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial discovery to production, and beyond.
- Develop and maintain a vision, strategy and roadmap for the product as critical foundations to ensure that all stakeholders have a common understanding of the path forward.
- Use the right market research and user discovery techniques to define the right product to build, and validate the approach to implementation through prototypes and user testing.
- Maintain product direction and priorities aligned with the broader business goals.
- Work in close collaboration with all team members, supporting their work by creating clarity, helping with prioritization and removing roadblocks.
- Make sure that alignment of all teams stays strong by conveying current development status, objectives and connection to product roadmap and overall company strategy.
- Work with the team to make sure that the product backlog is visible, clear and up-to-date.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Technical Support and other stakeholder groups to ensure that products are launched seamlessly and have ongoing support.
- Actively seek feedback from teams and stakeholders to enrich teamwork and solid product strategy.
- Use monitoring and tracking tools to understand how the product performs on the market and how users get value from it.
- Keep an eye on the industry and its influence on product development, and be ready to steer or pivot as necessary.
- Champion and foster a culture of user‑centricity, collaboration and a growth mindset across all teams and stakeholders involved in product development and operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software product management; product management experience with AI‑enhanced products, including generative AI, is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a closely related field is highly desirable.
- Ability to combine overall product strategy, key customer input, and broad market and community feedback with a detailed, executable product plan.
- Demonstrable experience leading product teams through all stages of the product lifecycle, either for complete products or major features.
- Knowledge of product management practices and frameworks that can be applied to different situations and phases of the product lifecycle.
- Deep experience partnering with disciplines such as engineering, product design, UX, marketing, sales, and support to identify, define, deliver, and operate a successful product.
- Ability to lead by influence, ensuring every team has what it needs to stay aligned and progress forward.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of discussing complex concepts and strategies with diverse audiences, from development teams to executive sponsors.
- Good understanding of the business and financial aspects of products.
- Growth mindset, actively seeking feedback and learning opportunities to overcome challenges and continue developing.
