Job summary

Jobtailor in Minnesota is seeking an experienced AI Product Manager to own the AI Center of Excellence and drive customer value. You will lead end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, backlog, and P&L while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable ROI.

Remote work not mentioned; on-site in MN. You'll balance short-term improvements with long-term investments, evaluate performance, and leverage data to prioritize features that matter to B2B payments clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Associate Product Manager or similar role.
• 3 years of people management experience.
• Experience in product lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
• Knowledge of Jira and other project management tools.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting complex data.
• Working knowledge of product data systems and fulfillment operations.
• Experience using General Purpose AI Tools (e.g., CoPilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) in product management.
• Lean/agile methodologies experience.
• Product management in a Center of Excellence team preferred.
• Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and gain stakeholder buy-in.
• Strong communication, decision making and leadership skills.
• Self-starter with data analysis and process improvement focus.

Job description

• Own end-to-end accountability for the AI Center of Excellence
• Ensure AI-based products and solutions deliver customer value and operate as viable business models
• Execute the overall AI product strategy, roadmap, backlog and financials
• Drive performance against financial and non-financial KPIs
• Balance short-term tactical product improvements with long-term product investments to maximize ROI
• Provide guidance to product management and development teams on customer needs and expected outcomes
• Engage stakeholders across the business to ensure product success
• Execute product vision and strategy, including product goals, target market, differentiation, positioning, and lifecycle market-share plans
• Develop and manage the product roadmap
• Evaluate product performance and solicit feedback, integrating customer research insights
• Engage regularly with Product Development to convey and meet business needs
• Manage the product backlog
• Oversee product P&L against revenue, EBITDA and/or other budget targets
• Run the Product Management function for the AI Center of Excellence
• Manage and prioritize AI use-case needs from business and functional units

Requirements

• 5 plus years of experience as an Associate Product Manager or similar role
• 3 years experience in people management
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience in product lifecycle management
• Familiarity with Agile framework
• Knowledge of project management tools, like Jira
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data
• Working knowledge of product data systems and fulfillment operations
• Working knowledge with General Purpose AI Tools like CoPilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and their usage for Product Management
• Versed in lean/agile methodologies
• Product management experience with a Center of Excellence Team, preferred
• Expertise in working with a multi-disciplinary team on customer-focused products and services
• Significant Payment industry knowledge and expertise within B2B Payments & Payment Processing are essential
• Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and obtain buy-in from stakeholders
• Ability to leverage data to make decisions about product features/attributes/components
• Strong communication, decision making, relationship-building skills
• Self-starter, leadership skills, data analysis, product lifecycle mgmt, process improvement, project management
