Join a fast-growing AI company transforming how K–12 education works. This is an opportunity to take significant ownership of complex, high-impact products and work directly with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to turn ambiguous problems into products that reach users quickly.
You’ll have the opportunity to own a problem domain end-to-end — from strategy and roadmap development through execution, launch, and continuous iteration. This is an especially strong opportunity for a product leader who enjoys working in a high-ownership environment, moving quickly, and building products where there isn't always an existing playbook.
What You’ll Do
- Own a product/problem domain from strategy through execution and ongoing iteration.
- Translate ambiguous customer and business problems into clear product strategies and roadmaps.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, and GTM teams to prioritize and deliver high-quality products.
- Drive complex, multi-surface-area initiatives across AI/ML, workflows, UX, and backend systems.
- Make thoughtful product trade-offs while maintaining a strong bias toward execution and shipping.
- Work directly with customers and incorporate feedback into product decisions.
- Lead zero-to-one product initiatives and establish structure where there may not be an existing playbook.
- Balance customer needs, technical constraints, business priorities, and product quality.
- Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly.
- Help build AI-native experiences that meaningfully improve educational outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of product management experience, ideally within AI/ML, SaaS, or other complex technology products.
- Experience working at an AI startup or AI-focused technology company.
- Strong product intuition and demonstrated ability to make independent product decisions.
- Strong technical fluency; a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is a plus.
- Experience working closely with engineering and design teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and other external stakeholders.
- Experience taking products from ambiguous concepts through launch and iteration.
- Comfortable operating with high ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Scrappy, decisive, low-ego, and highly execution-oriented.
- Mandarin proficiency required for the San Francisco-based role.
Why This Is a Great Opportunity
- High ownership: You’ll own meaningful product areas rather than simply managing individual features.
- AI-native environment: Work directly on products powered by AI/ML and LLM technology.
- Visible impact: Join a relatively small team where individual contributions have a direct impact on the product and company.
- Zero-to-one opportunities: Much of the product is net new, giving PMs an opportunity to shape the product rather than simply optimize an established system.
- Strong technical collaboration: Work alongside a highly technical engineering organization across AI/ML, frontend, backend, data, and automation.
- Mission-driven work: Build technology designed to improve learning outcomes and personalize education at scale.
- Direct access to leadership: The organization gives product team members significant exposure to founders and senior leadership.
