Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Counsel in its Litigation group. The preferred location is Midland, MI, but Houston, TX will also be considered.

Your assignment will include litigation management for Dow and its affiliated companies, covering a wide range of product liability litigation. You will independently provide legal counsel, manage external counsel, draft documents and oversee discovery, while coordinating with internal experts and staff across the Legal Department.

Qualifications

• Juris doctor or Master of Laws required.
• Bar admission to practice in the United States required or eligible.
• Travel up to 25% annually may be necessary to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent legal counsel to clients in Dow and affiliated companies.
• Manage external counsel and experts; oversee paralegals and staff.
• Draft and review legal documents; manage discovery and case strategy.
• Communicate proactively with Legal Department leadership and clients.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials; oversee appellate issues.
