Job summary

Hawaii Medical Service Association in Honolulu seeks a product manager to own feasibility, requirements, and lifecycle decisions for employer group products and benefits.

You will coordinate between HMSA, IT and business teams, map existing systems to product needs, implement complex product and benefit builds, and respond promptly to incidents and events as they arise. This role covers governance, integrations, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for feasibility and requirements throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and client requirements, refining the product vision, assessing feasibility, identifying technical and operational roadblocks, providing solutions for implementation and troubleshooting.
• Serve as liaison between HMSA and external business, operational and IT departments to ensure alignment between technical and non-technical teams.
• Responsible for managing and implementing business rules, product guardrails and complex product and benefit builds in the product and benefits management system. Manages workflow and controls for development, review and promoting to production within the system.
• Primary resource for future and ongoing product and benefit integration and mapping activities with the product and benefits system and other systems.
• Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary
• Perform all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.
