Gusto is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Payroll Platform to shape the APIs that connect payroll to the tools where work happens. You’ll enable AI agents to simplify complex payroll tasks and drive multi-team adoption across Denver, NYC, and SF markets.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of direct Product Management experience.
• Experience owning a platform, API or developer product and driving adoption.
• Technical fluency in APIs, data models and system design, with API migration experience.
• Strong platform judgment for shared systems and contracts.
• Experience designing for trust in systems with auditability and automation.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or agents and AI prototyping.

Responsabilidades

• Define the vision, strategy and roadmap for Payroll Platform and API contracts.
• Drive adoption metrics for the platform among teams, partners and agents.
• Lead cross-functional work across engineering, design, data and compliance.
• Build and migrate users onto a unified payroll API to support multiple worker types.
• Define actions, controls and audit trails for AI agent safety and expansion.
