Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. (Acacia) is seeking a senior product leader to own the multi-year strategy for next‑generation optical interconnects.

You will drive cross‑functional alignment across hardware, silicon photonics, DSP, operations, manufacturing, and marketing to deliver cutting-edge transceiver products. You will shepherd market analysis, customer discovery, PRDs, and NPI through to volume scaling, coordinating with Tier‑1 hyperscalers and networking OEMs to capture emerging opportunities in

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field; 12+ years, or Master's with 8+ years.
8+ years in Technical Product Management, Product Marketing, and System Engineering in optical comms/high-speed networking/semiconductor transceiver industries.
Management of full hardware/optical product lifecycles from concept through launch and manufacturing.
Direct experience with Tier-1 cloud hyperscalers or telecom equipment makers to capture requirements.
Knowledge of optical technologies: coherent transceivers (e.g., 400ZR/800ZR/OpenZR+), pluggable form factors (QSFP-DD, OSFP), standards bodies.

Responsibilities

Define, drive, and own the multi-year product strategy and execution roadmap for Acacia's next-generation product.
Orchestrate full lifecycle product management from market analysis to PRD, through NPI and volume scaling.
Serve as the trusted central technical and business authority, aligning hardware, silicon photonics, DSP, operations, manufacturing, and marketing.
Engage with industry leaders and OEMs to translate requirements into concrete product specs.
