Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Principal Product Manager for the PPL Technology portfolio to translate ambiguous employee and business problems into strategy, requirements, and measurable outcomes. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of product management experience owning a product or platform from definition through delivery and operation.
• Experience operating with minimal oversight and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to scope, sequence, and ship technical work.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with evolving requirements.
• Track record of quickly acquiring new domains or skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for both business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for an assigned PPL domain portfolio.
• Manage visibility across tools, vendors, and contracts with data-driven decisions.
• Translate problems into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Own the experience and intelligence layer over Workday and other systems.
• Collaborate daily with ESE engineering teams as the product voice from requirements to launch.
• Apply vendor capture test to AI capabilities within the domain.
• Build trust and alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
• Drive adoption and transition of stakeholders to a centralized model.
• Define and own KPIs linking product metrics to talent strategy with dashboards.
