Selby Jennings is partnering with a leading investment manager to define and deliver scalable cloud-based data products, enabling self-service access and enterprise-wide data capabilities.

The role leads the vision and lifecycle of the data platform, collaborating with data engineers, architects, and stakeholders to drive adoption and measure impact in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management, platform product, or related experience.
• Proven experience owning products through the full lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture, data engineering, and cloud data platforms.
• Experience with AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka/Confluent, or Flink.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience building enterprise data platforms, analytics infrastructure, or AI/ML enablement.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, data quality, governance, integration, and platform security.
• Proven track record delivering products in complex, fast-paced enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and lifecycle of enterprise data platform products.
• Partner with data engineers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders to define requirements.
• Lead discovery, MVPs, and experiments to deliver data platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering to build scalable cloud-native solutions (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake).
• Prioritize roadmaps and backlogs based on business value and feasibility.
• Define KPIs and drive data-driven product improvements.
• Support adoption through enablement and go-to-market initiatives.
• Mentor team members and establish best practices.
