Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world''s largest HVAC company, seeks a Senior Product Manager - Data Center Controls Solutions to define and drive the product strategy for its data center offerings.

You will lead the vision for controls, software, analytics, and digital services, coordinating with engineering, digital services, sales, marketing, and partners to deliver market-leading solutions for hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and edge facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and relevant technical discipline required.
• 6–8 years in product management or related fields in controls or HVAC.
• 5+ years leading product management in controls, software, or digital services.
• Strong ability to develop business cases and market assessments.
• Excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20–30%.
• U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the Data Center Controls Solutions portfolio strategy and roadmap.
• Lead NPIs and coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, partners).
• Develop go-to-market strategies including positioning and enablement.
• Define requirements across building/equipment controls, analytics, cloud, and cybersecurity.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to guide investment decisions.
• Establish partnerships with vendors and cloud providers.
• Monitor portfolio performance and adjust actions for growth.
• Support strategic customer engagements and industry events.
• Collaborate with sales/service to optimize the customer experience.
