Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to lead content standards and AI-enabled workflows across content teams. You’ll sit with business units, model taxonomies, and rebuild production pipelines while strengthening governance and measurable quality.

You will own end-to-end product efforts, collaborating with editorial, engineering, and design, and mentor other PMs in an outcome-focused, SVPG-like model.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of product management experience in content or publishing.
• Hands-on ownership of taxonomy, metadata, and quality frameworks.
• Experience with authoring and delivery platforms (CMS/DAM/LCMS).
• Built and shipped substantive content systems with AI tooling.
• Experience in SVPG-style empowered product teams and outcome ownership.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.
• Able to coach other PMs and leaders without friction.

Responsibilities

• Embed content standards and build a shared spine across units.
• Redesign production workflows to reduce handoffs and rework.
• Partner with Pearson content leaders on strategy and craft.
• Define artifacts from MRDs to PRDs and specs.
• Build AI fluency and evaluate automation opportunities.
• Lead training and community of practice for content teams.
