Job summary

Moog in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY is seeking an Electronics Product Engineer to support military aircraft programs through production. You will lead technical guidance for 1–2 product lines and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining product integrity.

The role involves coordinating design changes, leading RCA analyses, and mentoring operations staff. On-site work with periodic travel is required.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering preferred, or a relevant degree plus 3 years of experience.
Electronics knowledge from product to circuit level with troubleshooting.
Experience with electronics test and measurement equipment.
Knowledge of PCB assembly processes.
Strong ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Willingness to work onsite in East Aurora, NY; travel 5-15%.

Responsibilities

Assure product integrity, quality and on-time delivery by resolving production problems.
Support design changes by redlining drawings and participating in CRB and ECN processes.
Lead tasks and schedules for product engineering on team projects.
Prepare clear production/assembly instructions and train operations staff to ensure efficient production.
Provide timely information to affected groups about quality, schedule and cost risks.
Track metrics like FPY and product cost objectives to improve performance.
Coordinate with customers and suppliers to maintain design integrity and producibility.
Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Serve as the technical electronics production contact for customers.
