Job summary

LiveKit in San Francisco is hiring Product Engineers to build the surfaces developers use to ship robotics applications on LiveKit. Most work lives on the web and in our CLI, including dashboards, tooling, observability, and debugging surfaces that turn LiveKit from a set of APIs into a platform people love to build on.

You will write production code in TypeScript and Go, work end-to-end across the stack, and ship features that real developers depend on.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering experience shipping product end-to-end.
• Strong TypeScript skills and modern web framework experience.
• Experience building dashboards or developer-facing tooling for robotics or similar domains.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship core product surfaces on the web and CLI end-to-end.
• Design features that are obvious and powerful for developers.
• Engage with developers to understand workflows and edge cases.
• Move prototypes to production based on real usage.
• Contribute to technical and product decisions shaping future work.
