Job summary

Amphenol ICC in Nashua, NH is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to act as the technical expert for connector product lines. You will plan and manage complex projects while guiding engineers and support staff, and you will support strategic objectives with technical leadership across sales and marketing.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers, drive NPI to volume transitions, and apply tolerance analyses, FEA, and material evaluation to improve product performance.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• GD&T methodologies understanding.
• Experience with solid modeling tools and FEA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product quality and reliability; perform failure analysis.
• Manage documentation and specifications at component and process levels.
• Serve as technical liaison for sales and marketing groups.
• Integrate new technologies and cost initiatives into designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing for prototypes and pilot production.
• Lead transition of products from NPI to volume manufacturing.
• Support design reviews, testing, and qualification for new products.
